Become a faculty representative
Would you be interested in becoming a
faculty representative?
You could be there for your colleagues in need.
Teachers have so many instructional concerns that
we often forget that we are employees with rights.
Many teachers have a quick question
and many others need someone to talk to about their job
concerns.
As teachers, we work with student all day. However, most
employees in other professions work with each other all day. Sometimes it is
hard for us to establish trusting, open relationships with each other,
where we can voice our concerns. 
That is where our status as a
union member comes in. We are united as educators, with common goals
and concerns. GTA can "go to bat" for you, as an employee.
You are not alone.
