Your legislators need to hear from you today!

Governor Brown has asked the California Legislature to call a special election for June so voters can decide for themselves if they want to see $25 billion in budget cuts or reduce that number to $12.5 billion by extending current taxes.

To place the Governor's proposal on the ballot, two-thirds of each house of the legislature must vote to support it. This means that at least two Republicans in each chamber must join all the Democrats.

Contact your legislators now and tell them that you want them to give the people of California the chance to vote on Governor Brown's proposal.

It is impossible to predict what cuts we'll see in our schools across the state if the Governor and Legislature have to close the full $25 billion gap. This is a critical issue for K-12 education.

Please take action today & forward it on to others that live in California!
